Submission Format:
We accept short films up to 20 minutes in length. All genres welcome, but projects must involve AI in some part of the creative process (visuals, editing, writing, sound, or concept).
AI Usage:
Please note what AI tools were used and how they contributed to your project (e.g., Runway for visuals, ChatGPT for script, ElevenLabs for voiceover, etc.). This helps us better understand and program your work.
Premiere Status:
Premieres are not required, but previously screened work must be eligible for public exhibition.
Language:
If your film is not in English, it must include English subtitles.
Exhibition Format:
Selected films must be available in high-resolution digital format (MP4 preferred) for live projection.
Rights & Permissions:
By submitting, you confirm that you hold all rights to the material, including music, visuals, and AI-generated content. You grant Atlanta Immersion the right to exhibit your work at the 2025 event and promote it across our channels.
Festival Participation:
Filmmakers with selected works will be invited to attend the live event in Atlanta on May 10, 2025. Attendance is encouraged but not required.

Best AI Short
The top overall award for excellence in AI filmmaking.
Recognizes the standout AI-generated short film of the festival.
Best Narrative
Awarded for strong storytelling, emotional impact, and powerful structure within an AI-driven film.
AI Innovation Award
Honors the most creative, original, or groundbreaking use of AI tools in the filmmaking process.
Mindbender Award
Given to the most surreal, experimental, terrifying, or unforgettable AI short film screened at Atlanta Immersion.
Audience Choice
Selected by viewers during the festival.
Celebrates the AI short film that leaves the biggest impression on the crowd.
